If you are holding a collection for the Stevenage Community Foodbank please look at the points below:

Food Bank needs to be made aware a minimum of four weeks before the collection/donation event date in writing with a contact name and contact details.

The collecting organisation needs to have written authorisation from the Food Bank for the collection/donation event without this the Food Bank will not be accepting the donation.

The collecting organisation needs to take direction from the Food Bank as to what food/toiletries are acceptable donations.

The collecting organisation needs to arrange for the donation to be dropped off at the Food Bank or a Food Bank donation point.

Only in exception circumstances and with the authorisation of the Collection Manager will the food bank organise collection of the donations.

We have had to introduce these regulations owing to limited storage and an existing thriving support for the Food Bank
